Botany Field Class Photo Essay

Many graduate students, land management professionals, and amateur botanists have a hard time finding opportunities to hone their field plant identification skills.  Oftentimes plant identification can be one of the most difficult, but necessary, professional skills to maintain. Kirsten Romig, Connie Maxwell, and Amy Slaughter of the Jornada host a bimonthly Jornada Experimental Range field botany workshop.

  • These workshops are designed to improve individual's knowledge of plants in our area.
  • Workshops are free and open to the public.
  • Please contact Kirsten for further information about upcoming workshops and designing workshops to address specific botanical skills.
