JournalMap is an ecological literature search engine that directly links published research to a geographic location and biophysical variables of the area where that research was conducted. It works as a traditional keyword literature search engine with a map location feature. All publications entered into the JournalMap database are geotagged based upon the location information provided in the publication and plotted on a global map. JournalMap allows you to visualize where the research was conducted and allows you to search for literature from areas of similar geographic and biophysical features.
