AbstractSeeds of Bouteloua eropida, (Torr.) Torr. were surface disinfested and germinated on a carbon mineral rich medium. Callus was initiated from embryonic shoots excised from the roots on auxin supplemented medium. After callus multiplication, embryos were induced from callus. They developed into normal embryos and caryopses that subsequently developed into intact plants. Regenerated plants were transplanted into soil and grown in the growth chamber. The utilization of regenerated plants for plant-fungus associations is discussed.
