AbstractResearch objectives included: (1) Evaluate tobosa (Hilaria mutica) managed under seasonal-continuous stocking with a low stock density and seasonal rotation stocking with a high stock density in arid southern New Mexico. (2) Characterize the average daily weight change in replacement Bos taurus and Bos taurus,Bos indicus crossbred replacement heifers managed under low stock density and high stock density grazing management.
